Spicy Grilled Skirt Steak

This spicy grilled skirt steak recipe is simple and full of flavor. The key is to apply the nicely mashed garlic and jalapeño to the steak and season with salt and pepper. Grill it for about 5 minutes per side on a medium-high heat so the steak will tenderize nicely and not overcook. Best served with dishes like tacos.

Ingredients

skirt steak

limes, juiced

juice of orange

jalapeno
1 clove
garlic
1/4 cup
olive oil
1/2 tsp.
salt
1/4 tsp.
paprika
1/2 tsp.
black pepper
1/2 tsp.
rosemary
Directions
1. Place the garlic, jalapeño, in a food processor and process until it forms a paste.
2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and whisk in the lime juice, orange juice, and olive oil.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Heat a cast-iron grill pan over medium high heat.
5. Toss steak with 3 tbsp. oil.
6. Cook it for about 5 minutes per side.
7. Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest 10 minutes, then slice.
8. Garnish with limes and oranges.
