Flank Steak

A delicious flank steak recipe that doesn’t take long to cook. The sauté pan is pre-heated first before adding the olive oil. The key is to season the steak with black pepper, salt, oregano & paprika and sear it for a few minutes over high heat to tenderize a tougher piece of meat. Slice the steak and serve with vegetables, tortillas, salsa, guacamole, etc.

Ingredients
3 tbsp.
olive oil
8 ounces
flank steak
1/2 tsp.
black pepper
1/4 tsp.
paprika
1/2 tsp.
salt
1/2 tsp.
oregano
Directions
1. Heat a sauté pan over high heat and add olive oil.
2. Season the steak with black pepper, salt, oregano and paprika.
3. Add the steak to the hot pan and sear over high heat for 4 minutes on each side.
4. Remove the steak from the pan.
5. Slice the steak and serve.

Flank Steak with Garlic

This flank steak recipe is grilled first then finished off with a pan sear, and topped with a delicious garlic sauce. The key is to let it sit after grilling for a few minutes, then sear it at high temperature in garlic butter to lock in those juices. Best served with a dry red wine and your favorite potato dish.

Ingredients

flank steak
1/3 cup
olive oil
1/3 cup
honey
2 tbsp.
soy sauce
1/2 tsp.
black pepper
1 tsp.
oregano
2 tbsp.
butter
2 cloves
garlic
Directions
1. Mix all the ingredients except the butter and garlic and put them in a zip lock bag, then add the steak and let it marinate for one hour in the fridge.
2. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat for about 8 minutes on each side.
3. Set aside for 5 minutes and slice the steak.
4. Add butter and garlic in medium heat and sear for a few minutes
5. Pour garlic sauce on top of steak.
6. Garnish with parsley and serve.
