A delicious flank steak recipe that doesn’t take long to cook. The sauté pan is pre-heated first before adding the olive oil. The key is to season the steak with black pepper, salt, oregano & paprika and sear it for a few minutes over high heat to tenderize a tougher piece of meat. Slice the steak and serve with vegetables, tortillas, salsa, guacamole, etc.

Ingredients

flank steak

Directions
1. Heat a sauté pan over high heat and add olive oil.
2. Season the steak with black pepper, salt, oregano and paprika.
3. Add the steak to the hot pan and sear over high heat for 4 minutes on each side.
4. Remove the steak from the pan.
5. Slice the steak and serve.

Directions
1. Heat up 1 tbsp. of olive oil in a large skillet placed over a medium heat.
2. Throw in the onions and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Place the onion and garlic on a plate.
4. Add a tablespoon of olive oil in medium heat.
5. Place the beef to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes then set aside.
6. Add the peppers and shallots, and cook until the peppers start to soften for about 5 minutes.
7. Take the cooked onions and beef back into the pan and cook until everything is warm.

Directions
1. Salt and pepper the steak on both sides.
2. Place a cast iron skillet over high heat.
3. Melt 1/2 tablespoon butter in the pan and add the steak.
4. Let it sear both sides for four minutes each. Sear the sides for a minute.
5. Remove from skillet and let rest for at least ten minutes.
6. Melt remaining butter in skillet over medium heat.
7. Add the beef broth and stir.
8. Slice steak and drizzle with the sauce.
9. Garnish with rosemary.
