Pan Seared Steak

Here is a recipe for a pan seared steak that is drizzled with flavorful buttery sauce, juicy in the middle and garnished with rosemary. They key to have a mouth-watering pan seared steak is salt and pepper to taste and proper searing technique. Serve with potato gratin and you’ll have an awesome dinner.
 

Ingredients
1 lb
flank steak
1 tsp.
salt
1/2 tsp.
black pepper
2 tbsp.
butter
1/2 cup
beef broth
1 sprig
rosemary
Directions
1. Salt and pepper the steak on both sides.
2. Place a cast iron skillet over high heat.
3. Melt 1/2 tablespoon butter in the pan and add the steak.
4. Let it sear both sides for four minutes each. Sear the sides for a minute.
5. Remove from skillet and let rest for at least ten minutes.
6. Melt remaining butter in skillet over medium heat.
7. Add the beef broth and stir.
8. Slice steak and drizzle with the sauce.
9. Garnish with rosemary.
